[WATCH] Soccer star's blunder goes viral globally

Free State Stars player, Mohammed Anas is now not only known for his soccer skills but also as the man who thanked both his wife and 'girlfriend' in a post-match interview on Friday night.

Anas quickly corrected his mutterings when he realised he had placed himself in an awkward position.

South African social media users soon caught on to this embarrassing moment making the video go viral.

Whether his remarks were true or a genuine mistake remains to be seen.
