Clarity on London attack emerges

Peter Anderson, EWN UK correspondent says more details on the police operation, victims and of the suspect who carried out the attack. He says the police have managed to made eight arrests connected to the attack.

Anderson says the vehicle involved in the attacked was found to have been rented from Birmingham.

Anderson says seven people are in hospital in a critical condition. It is understood information of the attacker is known to the police but will not release his name as yet.

He is said to be British born.
