#IfTheReshuffleIsTrue: Callers share their own predictions and comments

Speculation over a Cabinet reshuffle has most South African’s in suspense, and others rather concerned.

The Presidency has still given no explanation as to why Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan and his deputy Mcebisi Jonas have been instructed to return home from their international investor roadshow.

The Presidency made the announcement in a short statement on Monday.

Asked by Reuters if he would return, Gordhan said "yes", adding he had not planned to be part of the US leg of the investor roadshow anyway. He declined to comment on reasons for his return, as well as questions about a possible Cabinet reshuffle simply saying,"That's the boss' prerogative."

Mustafah disagrees with these comments and says it is not within the best interests of the country to attack President Jacob Zuma for every decision without considering all the facts.

Pravin Gordhan is the key person in this issue of the payment of Sassa, now should we allow this man to go overseas at this critical moment? I don't think its fair on the side of the president.
