Absa Cape Epic, CEO, Lynn Naudé says this year's race had great representation.
She says the success of the race was a result of the great work of her colleagues. She adds that having Olympic medalists partake in the race will take the race to new heights going forward.
Naudé adds that the first four days were exceptionally hot resulting in the race being cut short in its second stage for the first time in 14 years. She adds that is was important to look after the safety of their riders.
