Denis Goldberg and Aaron Motsoaledi bid farewell to Kathrada

The Ahmed Kathrada Foundation confirmed the death of South Africa's struggle veteran Ahmed Kathrada in the early hours of Tuesday.

He was frail but his voice strong and principled. I feel a terrible sense of loss.

Dr Denis Goldberg

My sympathy to the people who worked very closely with him in his foundation and I wish for them to be strong in upholding everything he stood for.
