Vanessa Jacobs (2016 Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year) is the “Chief Innovator” behind “Sow Delicious”, whose vegetable and herb “Slab of Seed” invention is taking edible gardening to a mainstream audience.

“Sow Delicious” began as an online niche gardening store in August 2013, through which Jacobs identified a gap in the market for “grow-your-own” products aimed at novice gardeners, even those living in flats or townhouses.

Arabile Gumede (in for Bruce Whitfield on The Money Show) interviewed Jacobs for the weekly “ShapeShifter” feature.

Listen to the interview in the audio below (and/or scroll down for more quotes from it).
