Infighting and political turbulence within the mighty Zanu PF

Zimbabwe’s ruling Zanu PF held a crucial meeting on Wednesday to discuss raging factionalism and infighting within its structures.

Two camps have emerged as the factions seek to outwit each other in the race to succeed the 93- year-old leader, President Robert Mugabe.

Dumisani Muleya, Editor of Zimbabwe Independent and Chief Content Officer Alpha Media Holdings, says there was an outbreak in the women's wing of the party which saw two senior officials being forced to step down.

He says the two were also forced to repay the money they've taken from the party.

There's a whole lot of infighting and political turbulence ....
