The South African Communist Party's Alex Mashilo says when they meet with the ANC they will reiterate their call that it is time for Zuma to resign.
The national spokesperson says the SACP will be marching to National Treasury and say they demand Treasury "protect our national finances and intensify efforts to combat corruption and state capture".
SACP national spokesperson, Alex Mashilo, says they want National Treasury to ensure that all public money is used in the interest of the people of South Africa.
The African National Congress's (ANC) alliance has already called on the ruling party to recall President Jacob Zuma following the Cabinet reshuffle last week.
SACP criticised the President for axing Pravin Gordhan as finance minister.
The ANC's national working committee (NWC) welcomed Zuma's explanation for firing Gorhan, and said it has full confidence in new Finance Minister Malusi Gigaba.
Mashilo added that the ANC needs to lead by example and not wait for an opposition party to lobby the motion of no confidence against President Jacob Zuma.
