LeadSA: Thula Thula lends a helping hand to Hout Bay fire victims

Thula Thula, an NGO in Hout Bay has been working tirelessly to assist victims of the fire in Imizamo Yethu that ravaged homes last month.

Founder of Thula Thula, Joanne Chemaly, has been nominated as LeadSA hero for March for the work done in Imizamo Yethu where 15 000 people were affected by the blaze.

Speaking to CapeTalk's Kieno Kammies, Chemaly says Thula Thula wouldn't have made if it wasn't for the volunteers who came out in their numbers to help and also businesses who have been making big contributions.

The NGO is in need of volunteers to help distribute packs to about 500 families.
