SaveSA to protest outside Parliament on April 18: Sipho Pityana

I'm very proud of the way South Africans responded, putting their differences aside and we came together as a true rainbow nation.

Sipho Pityana, SaveSA leader

Leader of SaveSA, Sipho Pityana, expressed his gratitude to South Africans for coming out in their numbers to protest against President Jacob Zuma.

Pityana says the protests should continue until Zuma steps down. He says if the ANC cannot persuade Zuma to step down, they must recall him.

Our view is that the motion of no confidence is the only opportunity left to relieve the country of the specter of Jacob Zuma.

Sipho Pityana, SaveSA leader

If the ANC fails to do that the anger of the masses will be against the organisation.

Another protest march has been organised for the April 18 at Parliament where a motion of no confidence against Jacob Zuma will be held.

Pityana says they've asked members of Save SA to go to MP's in their respective provinces and persuade them to do the right thing on the day.
