SA's opposition parties unite for National Day of Action

11 April 2017 8:28 AM
ACDP, APC, COPE, DA, EFF, IFP and UDM have joined forces in their call for Zuma to step down.

South Africans are not backing down on the call for President Jacob Zuma to step down.

On Friday thousands of South Africans took to the streets in a national protest against the recent Cabinet reshuffle by Zuma.

Opposition parties will join the masses in what's called a National Day of Action to be held on Wednesday, April 12, coinciding with the President's birthday.

National Chairperson of Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), Adv Dali Mpofu, says South Africans should continue with protest action until their voices are heard.

This is a build-on on what happened last week... As far as political parties are concerned this the first time that we literally put our internal differences aside and we are going to be marching side by side.

This is no longer about party politics but about saving our country.
