Meet Munene Khoza, self-professed 'word nerd' and founder of Mint Language

Mint Language Consultancy is an agency of business savvy language practitioners founded by linguist and entrepreneur Munene Khoza.

Linguist Munene Khoza is the founder of Mint Language Consultancy, a full-service language enhancement and corporate communications firm.

Khoza explains that Mint Language offers a range of language-based services including, communications strategy, copy writing, editing, proof-reading and translating.

Khoza obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Writing and English at the University of Cape Town (UCT).

After school, I realised that there was this thing in me that wanted to write, so that seemed like the right way to go.

She said studying in the Humanities forced her to think long and hard about her career prospects.

After furthering her studies in London and Scotland, Khoza says she grew up very quickly and deepened her love for linguistics.

She then returned to South Africa to work in the corporate field doing management consulting for five years, and then later worked in public relations work and reputation management, before giving birth to Mint Language.

Language is a function in every business. There's a business case for impact language.
