Economic transformation is non-negotiable - Ramaphosa

Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa says policies should not be appropriated in "a pursuit of factional interests or in an attempt to hoodwink the public through revolutionary sounding slogans".

Ramaphosa says corruption and patronage will not be tolerated.

The Deputy President was speaking at the Economic Recovery Engagement Dinner organised by the Black Business council on Wednesday night.

He said economic transformation is non-negotiable and it is going to happen whether people like it or not.
