Nzimande cautions ANC's alliance partners against joining anti-Zuma campaigns

SACP general secretary Blade Nzimande has warned the ANC's alliance partners not get involved in starting anti-Zuma campaigns.

Nzimande is addressing Cosatu’s Gauteng provincial shop steward council in Johannesburg.

The main message from Nzimande to Cosatu and its affiliated unions was to be careful not to start anti-Zuma campaigns.

Nzimande reflected on the difficult decision taken by the SACP and Cosatu to call for President Jacob Zuma's resignation, reports EWN's Clement Manyathela.

He said that they must deal with fundamental issues which include transforming the economy and stopping the looting of the state by what he says are parasites.

He also reflected on what led to the recall of former president Thabo Mbeki and what should be learnt from that experience.
