Piracy has returned to the Horn of Africa, after being all but eliminated by international forces.

There has been six “incidents” in the past month, according to the US military.

Some commentators refer to Somali pirates as “freedom fighters” who are fighting to protect the dwindling resources of a fishing nation without a functioning coast guard.
