Why solar energy is key to powering Africa

It has to be solar power, says CEO of The Sun Exchange, Abraham Cambridge.

The Sun Exchange is a crowd funding platform that finances solar projects in Africa.

Cambridge says the continent needs to invest in solar energy projects in order to boot development.

It's essential for Africa's development that we go down the path of solar energy. There's no way that the whole of Africa could become electrified without utulising clean energy.

He says the benefits of solar are that it's immediately deployable and scalable.
