Are physical books the new vinyl?

New data suggest that the reading public is ditching e-books and returning to the old fashioned printed word. Sales of consumer e-books plunged 17% in the U.K. in 2016, according to the Publishers Association.

Sales of physical books and journals went up by 7% over the same period, while children's books surged 16%. The same trend is on display in the U.S where e-book sales declined 18.7% over the first nine months of 2016, according to the Association of American Publishers.

Paperback sales were up 7.5% over the same period, and hardback sales increased 4.1%. Experts say that many people are also trying to limit their screen time.

This week I have been playing with LG’s flagship phone the G6. What I loved most about this phone is how comfortable it feels in my hands despite its size and the fact that it is a phablet.

Don’t let that be misleading though. The G6 is a phone with the latest tech packed into the hood. The camera is impressive. It has 13MP camera that also has a 125-degree wide angle feature that lets you capture more in a picture or a selfie.

This phone is solidly built and will be a competitor in the high end market against devices like the Samsung S8. It is a beautiful phone that is also well prices. Don’t overlook the LG G6 in your next upgrade choices.
