5 reasons why you have to see Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

There are many more reasons that you should watch this movie, but we only need 5 to convince you!

1. The Music

The music in the first Guardians of the Galaxy was a huge part of it's success. It instantly connected us to Peter Quill, played by Chris Pratt. In an alien world, it showed us his human side.

We are happy to say that the music in Volume 2 is just as awesome. Not only is the film full of nostalgic ’70s and ’80s anthems, the music is so carefully woven into the plot, it becomes a character itself.

Just to wet your appetite here is the soundtrack to listen to before you see the movie:

2. It will give you all the feels

Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 is an emotional rollercoaster. Yes, there are the obvious jokes made in the film but it's also full of witty, clever comedy. But Drax's one-liners and guttural laugh will get you every time!

Not only is the film hysterical, it also deals with some deep issues. Love, loyalty, family and friends that become your family. Not to give any spoilers away, but the end scene WILL make you cry! Like ugly cry!

3. It's a visual spectacle

Like seriously your eyes were never ready! The universe they have created is extraordinary. Vivid colours, the evil creatures are horrifying and the new world they introduce is something dreams are made of! The trailer gives you a small taste:

4. I am Groot

Groot is EVERYTHING! He is at the heart of some very touching scenes and also provides some great comic relief.

We will never forget his poignant words in the first film "We are Groot" as he sacrifices himself to save his friends.

Luckily, Rocket the raccoon had the foresight to replant a piece of Groot and managed to save him! We are so glad that he returns in the sequel as Baby Groot.

5. The end credits

Two things...

Firstly watch all the way until the end, just trust us! Secondly play the "I am Groot" game while the credits roll, you'll see what we mean when you watch the film :)
