South Africans looking to emigrate increasing - expert

There has been an increase in South Africans looking to emigrate say immigration experts.

Inquiries are reported to have shot up by 200% a day after President Zuma announced his latest Cabinet reshuffle.

Director at Intergate Immigration, Stuart James, they've seen an increase in people inquiring, those with a positive assessment and the number of people who actually proceed to emigrate.

He says it is people across racial and wealth lines and across South Africa and all industries who are making inquiries

The reason they are saying they are leaving, it is obviously the Cabinet reshuffle, state capture and not seeing a future for their children in this country

Staurt James, Director at integrate immigration

James says the people wanting to move out of South Africa don't really seem to care which country to move to as long as they get to move.
