[LISTEN] Masterclass: Top TV and film scriptwriter shares tips on how to do it

Zunaid Mansoor, Head of Screen Writing at AFDA Johannesburg crafted a career in script-writing after being selected by the US government as South Africa's Fulbright scholar.

He went on to obtain his master's in TV and Film writing.

Mansoor has since been mentored by the likes of The Bold and the Beautiful's Bradley Bell and worked alongside other Oscar nominated and Emmy Award winning writers.

He spoke to Azania Mosaka about the creative writing process.

Different writers of different formats, they come to the process with a different impetus, for filmmakers or TV writers it comes with anything, a dream, a line from a great song that you love.... but its what you do after that little snippet of inspiration that matters.
