Stuart Baxter tipped as next Bafana coach

The South African Football Association (Safa) has announced that they have reached an agreement on who will be the next Bafana Bafana coach.

Previous head coach Shakes Mashaba was fired after he was found guilty of gross misconduct, gross insubordination and the violation of the SAFA communications policy.

EWN sports reporter Morena Mothupi says its been a long wait and it seems South Africans have lost interest in what Safa hasto say about Bafana coach.

Safa said they'll be making an announcement in the next 48 hours.

Safa is not really saying anything but they are saying a lot.

Morena Mothupi, EWN Sports Reporter

He says Stuart Baxter appears set to be announced the new Bafana Bafana head coach. Although Safa has been suggesting there are other names, Mothupi says no one believes that because Baxter's name has been making rounds.

We going with the man we know for sure, ticks all the boxes for what South African and the association looks for in a coach.

Morena Mothupi, EWN Sports Reporter

I don't want to say for sure but I am putting my head on a block that it's Stuart Baxter and if it is not him it will by far be the biggest shock in South African sports history.
