Dlodlo, unlike her predecessor, gives encrypted TV the thumbs-up

EWN senior reporter and Midday Report host, Stephen Grootes, spoke to Communications Minister Ayanda Dlodlo at the World Economic Forum (WEF) on Africa in Durban.

Grootes says the Minister says she will introduce the encrypted form of digital terrestrial television.

He says Dloldo made it clear that she will implement what the African National Congress (ANC) policy says she must do.

ANC officials have previously criticised former Communications Minister Faith Muthambi for refusing to implement the policy and pressing ahead with a system of unencrypted digital terrestrial television.
