Bloomberg reports that the World Trade Organisation (WTO) has upheld Australia’s laws on unbranded packaging of cigarettes and other tobacco products after a five-year legal battle.

This could have implications on other countries such as South Africa, which already has a draft bill mandating unbranded cigarette packaging.

Xolani Gwala says there is only one solution for smokers, and it's an easy one.

If you are a smoker the only advice is, quit it.
