Marks Maponyane: Clever Boys may win the Absa Premiership

Bidvest Wits maintained their three-point lead over Mamelodi Sundowns a 1-0 win over Maritzburg United at the Bidvest Stadium at the weekend.

Stephen Grootes spoke to soccer analyst Marks Maponyane on whether the team has a chance at winning the Absa Premiership.

We can't all predict who exactly is going to win but just looking at last year this time when they ended the season, they ended with 67 points with which they are on, and now hey have a chance to muster another 9 points, but the big question is can they?

Marks Maponyane, soccer analyst

Mabponyane seems to think the team can do it...

Yes they can. They have been so fortunate that in the last three games they have been scoring an odd goal but from unlikely sources, and that's how you win the league, when a team just gets players that haven't been scoring, scoring goals , cause when you rely on a certain individual, when that individual is struggling the whole team is struggling.
