Africa Report: 3 confirmed dead from Ebloa outbreak in DRC

Health officials have been dispatched to the remote northern region of the Democratic Republic of Congo, following three Ebola related deaths.

World Health Organisation confirmed the deaths on Saturday.

The first case came last month and involved a 45-year-old man. The World Health Organisation (WHO) reports that the taxi driver who took the man to the hospital and a person who cared for the man both became sick and later died.

Kieno Kammies spoke to correspondent JJ Cornish about this and other stories around the continent.

The World Health Organisation is not going to take any chances and so they are acting very quickly now and moving officials in as we speak.
