North Korea missile capable of hitting US mainland claims Kim Jong Un

North Korea leader, Kim Jong Un, has confirmed that its tested new missile is capable of carrying a large nuclear warhead and hitting United States mainland.

EWN corespondent in Hong Kong, Steve Vines, says experts estimated that the missile has a range of 2800 miles, but the US is 4800 miles away from Korea.

However, Vines says experts have admitted that this a significant advance compared to other missiles launched by North Korea.
