Pick n Pay and San Parks apologise for animal card mix up

South African National Parks (SANParks) says it's working to correct a series of errors on it's collectable animal cards.

Pick n Pay recently launched its Super Animals campaign in partnership with SANParks where shoppers earn cards displaying different indigenous animals.

Both the organisation and retailer have apologised for errors such as the steenbok card which shows a picture of the European Alpine ibex, while the 39cm Arctic tern bird weighs 125 kilogrammes.

This really happened at the point of printing. We must actually thank the public for alerting us and we are working on rectifying the error together with our partners Pick n Pay. We jointly take responsibility.
