Molefe apparently slipped in to Megawatt Park at crack of dawn

Reinstated Eskom CEO Brian Molefe reported for work on Monday morning at the power utility's headquarters, despite vows from Cope to keep him out.

Brian Molefe arrived very, very early this morning. Some reports that he was there as early as 4AM.

The gathering of less than 20 protesters planned to stop him from entering Eskom's Megawatt Park but arrived well after Molefe had reported for duty.

The DA and Cope protesters demonstrated instead, calling for him to leave the premises.

By nine o' clock, he had already held a meeting or two.. and an impromptu briefing with Eskom staff members at the reception area.

Meanwhile, the DA has lodged papers at the high court in Pretoria to interdict Molefe's reappointment.
