DA files urgent court papers to have Molefe's re-appointment squashed

The DA has lodged papers in the High Court in Pretoria to interdict Brain Molefe's re-appointment as Eskom CEO.

Molefe reported for duty early on Monday morning after the Eskom board, on Friday, announced that he was reinstated to his position following a dispute about his R30 million pension pay-out.

The DA says Molefe is not fit an proper to hold the position, reports EWN's Gia Nicolaides.

The opposition party says it wants the High Court in Pretoria to review and set aside Molefe's reinstatement.

They are basically asking the court to review and set aside Molefe's reappointment, saying that it is illegal and irrational.
