#TimeOut with Leanne Manas

She's the beautiful face that greets South Africa every morning and sets the agenda and mood for the day. Leanne made news when she had to start presenting Morning Live alone after the terrible loss and death of her co-presenter and one of Mzansi's loved faces, Vuyo Mbuli.

Leanne spoke about how funny her relationship has always been with sport, but she played Tennis and Hockey in High School. She also played provincial Netball in her young age and spoke about her most embarrassing moment of her life. This was in 2007 after South Africa had won the Rugby World Cup and her and Vuyo welcomed the Springboks. Her favorite player was Bryan Habana and as they were standing by the podium as the team comes out at the airport, came the coach, Jake White. Leanne threw the first question and as he was still answering she saw at the corner of her eye Bryan Habana and without even thinking twice, pulled the microphone away from the coach mid sentence and ran to interview Brian Habana.
