According to Deputy Director for News Programming at CitiFM, Nana Boakye-Yiadom, Côte d'Ivoire soldiers opened fire in the commercial capital of Abidjan.
He says the soldiers have been demanding financial remunerations and negotiations with government have been unsuccessful.
This is not the first time these soldiers demanded bonuses. The last time this happened they were each given $8000, according to Boakye-Yiadom.
Government has been struggling with these soldiers and we don't for how long this will continue.— Nana Boakye-Yiadom Broadcast journalist at CitiFM in Accra
