What you can expect at this year's Cannes Film Festival

The entertainment industry is fast changing with streaming services like Netflix gaining a monopoly over exclusive content .

Is the Cannes Film Festival keeping up with changes in the TV and film industry?

Entertainment news correspondent Nadia Neophytou gives us some of what we can expect at the festival this year.

While organisers were very happy to show films for Netflix they have said that in the future that won't be the case because they want Netflix to show these films within cinemas that are here in France.

Nadia Neophytou, entertainment journalist

As you know Netflix has a different model. They don't necessarily do distribution through the traditional chain of the theaters so there seems to be a little bit of clashing on that, so it is going to be interesting to see how that plays out.

Nadia Neophytou, entertainment journalist

It will be at the market, where you see the type of people who are wanting to buy, how much interest there is in the new way film is going in terms of television shows.
