Spur is bleeding from right-wing boycotts

It happened almost immediately… It was like wildfire. Within a week we had immediate reaction, and then it just grew. And grew.

The quote above refers to the boycott of Spur in response to an incident in March which saw a white man banned from Spur restaurants after behaving aggressively towards a black woman.

The right-wing Front Nasionaal has claimed responsibility for the boycott.

Franchise owners claim drops in turnover ranging from 23% to 45%.

In 34 years I have never seen anything like it… We are battling. We are suffering…
