Suits and Sneakers gives future leaders access to (free) entrepreneurial skills

Mark Sham is the founder and CEO of Suits and Sneakers, a free conference platform which aims to produce leaders and entrepreneurs.

Suits and Sneakers hosts various events with speakers who share their experiences with entrepreneurship and innovation.

Sham explains that the model is very similar to the popular TED talks held all around the world and hopes to grow even bigger over time.

He says he believes emphatically in informal learning, as well as meaningful and continuous development.

I wanted to help re-imagined what learning is like.

Mark Sham, CEO of Suits and Sneakers

Aside from information sharing and networking, Sham aims to make Suits and Sneakers into an alternative education option for aspiring business people.

Our ultimate goal is to build our own, free, type of universities to offer school-leaver who can't afford the traditional system.

Mark Sham, CEO of Suits and Sneakers

The initiative has presented the Real Life MBA programme, which kicks off with a free conference that allows people to pick a learning curriculum relevant to their business.

The event takes place on 25 May in Johannesburg. Visit the Suits and Sneakers website to learn more.
