We need those voices, we need those men who are in leadership positions, who have access to resources, who have platforms, to influence society.

Sonn asks where are these men and why are they not speaking out?

Boys are parented very differently to girls.

Most men are not raised to be emotionally mature because they get stuck into a stereotype by their parents and society where it is not acceptable to be weak. They have to be in charge of everything.

They are not taught to use their words to negotiate, they get taught to use their fists.

She says this narrative has to change and all children need to be taken care of, boys and girls.
