Parliament hears chilling roll call of women violently killed this year

During the department's budget vote in Parliament, Deputy Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development John Jeffery read out a long list of names of women killed this year, and what was done to them.

These are the names we know, and there are no doubt others. each and every victim is somebody's child, and most of them it seems were killed by person's close to them or known to them.
