Zuma offers support to family of murdered Courtney Pieters

President Jacob Zuma visited the family home of murdered three-year-old Courtney Pieters in Elsies River on Thursday where he showed support to the family and expressed shock over the gruesome killing.

EWN reporter, Kevin Brandt says the President spent some time with the Pieters family and later addressed the community that gathered outside the home.

He spoke about the alleged killer who assisted with the search of the little girl and the evidence that came forth that the body might have been kept inside the boarder's house in the fridge without the family being aware.

Courtney's body was discovered in Epping over the weekend after she had been missing for more than a week.

40-year-old Mortimer Saunders, a boarder in her home, has been arrested for her rape and murder.
