Male escort: "It's not just about sex"

CapeTalk's Sara-Jayne King speaks to Zack, a male escort (27) living in Cape Town, about his work and why he chose to be an escort.

Before he became an escort, Zack graduated as a pastry chef and worked as one for a couple of years. He then saw an ad in a newspaper from an agency which provided male escorts services. He applied, was shown the ropes and he fell in love with it.

He says being a male escort is not just about sex, some clients just need companionship, go on dinner dates and other things.

Most of Zacks clients are male.

A lot of my clients are straight married men who want to sit and talk and be who they want be for that period of time.

Zack, Male Escort
