WATCH: Afrobeat sensation Femi Koya steals the show on #702Unplugged

Nigerian-born singer and saxophonist Femi Koya gave a show-stopping performance during the Unplugged sessions with Azania Mosaka.

His music is a fusion of West African influences with Mzansi flavour.

The artist explained the inspiration behind his music, which has been described as an eclectic mix of jazz, afrobeat, sophiatown, gospel and highlife.

I've always been very interested in African music and started listening to Fela Kuti when I was very young.
