Senior ANC MP Makhosi Khoza says she is unable to visit her children in Durban because of threats from the ANC Youth League. As an ANCMP she is based in Cape Town.
She says she fears for the safety of her children and has no security what so ever.
ANCYL Kwa-Zulu Natal chairperson, Kwazi Mshengu, says they've not seen or heard of any threats against Khoza.
What we have witnessed is her posture which is divisive in the movement and seeks to undermine the authority of the movement.— Kwazi Mshengu, ANCYL Kwa-Zulu Natal chairperson
There's never been any threats from the organisation.— Kwazi Mshengu, ANCYL Kwa-Zulu Natal chairperson
Mshengu say the ANCYL is the organisation of peace and will not encourage any of its members to pose threats on others. He says if Khoza insists that she is being threatened by the ANCYL then she should report the matter with police.
We are of a firm view that she is manufacturing the story so that she mobilises public sympathy.— Kwazi Mshengu, ANCYL Kwa-Zulu Natal chairperson
