Trump calls Manchester attacker 'evil loser'

US President Donald Trump has condemned the latest London terror attack.

On Monday, at least 22 people including several teenagers were killed when a suicide bomber detonated an explosive device at the Manchester Arena in the UK.

Speaking at a press conference during his visit in the Middle East, Trump said: "I won’t call them monsters because they would like that term. They would think that’s a great name. I will call them from now on losers because that’s what they are, they’re losers. And we'll have more of them. But they’re losers, just remember that. The terrorists and extremists and those who give them aid and comfort must be driven out from our society forever,”

Africa Melane spoke to correspondent Paula Slier about the president's big Middle East trip, as well as his closing speech.

One of the big themes that has come out of his two-day visit here in Isreal and Palestine is talking against the rise of extremism and Islamic fundamentalism.

We were very much expecting that he was going to outline some kind of peace vision for Israelis and Palestinians. He hasn't actually said anything concrete.

He spoke very strongly against Iran, he said "It's state sponsored terror..." and he also appealed to the international community to continue to isolate Iran until it came to the table.
