Nowadays you don’t steal a million; you steal a billion! – Pravin Gordhan

Public Enterprises Minister Lynne Brown and Eskom chair Ben Ngubane said on Tuesday in Parliament that there were documents to back up their decisions around why Brian Molefe was first allowed to leave Eskom and later reinstated.

Show us those documents, said ANC MP Pravin Gordhan.

The former finance minister has laid into the Eskom board accusing them of treating the parastatal like a personal toy for the benefit of a few.

He said it may be time that the Eskom board is dissolved.

The Money Show’s Bruce Whitfield interviewed Wits School of Economics and Business Science Senior Lecturer Lumkile Mondi.
