Blitzboks Ruhan Nel and Kyle Brown have described their win at the World Sevens Series as 'perfect timing'.
The Springbok Sevens team was crowned HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series champions in London on Sunday.
This is the Blitzboks' first World Series title since 2009, winning 5 out of the 10 tournaments this season.
They have become one of the country’s most popular teams in recent times, winning the bronze medal at the Rio Olympics.
Speaking on the questionable state of South African rugby at the moment and the support Sevens Rugby has garnered, Brown says the the timing was just right.
