Birthday girl hands out 500 cupcakes to Cape's homeless

Instead of sharing her birthday cake with family friends, Sam Grass celebrated her 28th birthday on May 27 by giving away cupcakes to homeless people in Cape Town.

With the help of businesses and individuals, Sam and her sister were able to collect 500 cupcakes.

Last year on her birthday, Sam collected toiletries to give away to the homeless people.

She speaks to CapeTalk's Kieno Kammies about her future plans and how people can contribute to her good course.
