"Duduzane Zuma is the Gupta family's greatest asset"

A correspondence of emails from the Gupta family and their employees first appeared on Sunday in both the Sunday Times and the City Press newspapers.

Then this week it was further revealed how the son of President Jacob Zuma, Duduzane Zuma received assistance to purchase an R18 million flat in Dubai.

There’s also been the claim that mineral resources minister Mosebenzi Zwane travelled on a plane chartered by the Gupta's with a businessman who was arrested in India for money laundering.

On Wednesday, News24 reported that Eskom board chairperson Ben Ngubane was involved in a deal in the Central African Republic after South African soldiers tried to stop a coup in that country.

Thoduxolo Jika, an award-winning journalist at the Sunday Times had access to these damning emails and says these show how the Gupta family went about with purchasing a flat for Duduzane Zuma.

Tony Gupta and Salim Essa's name are revealed in the email communication.

Duduzane is also their business partner in many companies.

On many trips you would see that they made sure Duduzane Zuma was well looked after.

Jika says Duduzane Zuma is probably the Gupta family's greatest asset and one who can give the family access to President Zuma. The Gupta family lawyer has since advised his clients to lay criminal charges, adds Jika.

Those emails are definitely genuine. Their contents reveal very serious things. We did our checks and balances before Sunday.
