President Zuma had fun taking a swipe at absent opposition parties

President Jacob Zuma addressed Members of Parliament on Thursday when he answered the Presidency budget questions.

Opposition parties such as The Democratic Alliance (DA), The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), The United Democratic Movement (UDM) and The Congress of the People (COPE) decided to boycott the Presidents speech.

EWN Parliamentary Correspondent Gaye Davis, says President Zuma had fun taking a swipe at the opposition parties who were in absentia, asking what their voters thought about not being represented in the National Aassembly.

He also referred to his opposition critics as being trapped in a propaganda world of their own.

Davis says Zuma made no mention of the Gupta leaked emails that revealed, amongst many things, how President Jacob Zuma was seeking alternative residency in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Davis adds that Zuma reiterated the need for an inquiry into the state capture allegations.
