VIDEOS AND PICS #KnysnaFire: Scenes of devastation

An estimated 10 000 residents have been evacuated from their homes in Knysna as fires blazed through the Eden district, with 50 buildings - including a Knysna High School hostel building and the Knysna Terrace Guest House - believed to have been gutted.

Residents, volunteers and journalists took to social media to share images and videos from the scene.
