EFF leader Julius Malema says the party was privy to allegations of corrupt dealings between government officials and the Gupta family before the information was publicly released.
The party held a briefing in Johannesburg on Thursday afternoon.
Malema says they have reason to believe the emails are authentic.
Eyewitness News reporter Clement Manyathela was at the briefing.
Manyathela explains that the party has instructed their lawyers to urge President Jacob Zuma to withdraw his application to review the State of Capture report.
