WATCH: #KnysnaFires - Ryan and Sibs' view from Knysna

From last-minute flights to George and first impressions from the scene, Ryan and Sibs have been documenting their journey as they lend their support to the people affected by the Knysna fires.

Packing for Knysna

Watch as Ryan's family helps him pack his bags for his trip to Knysna.

At the airport

Ryan and the team join people rushing to catch last-minute flights as people return to Knysna concerned about their homes, family and loved ones.

Getting on the plane

The team crosses the tarmac to board a plane en route to George.

Disembarking in George

After a quick flight to George, the team needs to wait for ages for the equipment that will help them to do the show on the road - "just eighteen gazillion tons of equipment".

Arriving in Knysna

The team arrives in Knysna and is met with scenes of devastation, and catches up with the manager of a bed and breakfast that went up in flames.

At the base station

Ryan and Sibs report from the sports field usually used for the Knysna Oyster Festival, which has become the base station for helicopters and soldiers forming part of the rescue efforts.
