Joel Stransky is hopeful the Springboks will trump the French in Saturdays game

Saturday marks the beginning of the Springboks rugby season. The Springs will be facing the French at Loftus Versfeld Stadium, in Tshwane.

Joel Stransky, Former Springbok Fly-half and 1995 Rugby World Cup-winning fly-half says rugby fanatics have every reason to be nervous about Saturday's game considering the unimpressive season the South African squad had last year.

Stransky adds that Springbok coach, Allister Coetzee has done well to select form players.

As much as those guys are uncapped, they have played well at Super Rugby level.

They used to have this real French flair. I think they're a little weak because don't have strong French players.
